Floor boards have to be flush and free from lumps and bumps 

To ensure a totally smooth surface ply board is laid over floor boards

The ply board is laid flush to the shower tray to ensure a tight fit

The safety floor is then laid over the whole floor including the shower tray and everything is designed to gently drain towards the plug 

All the vinyl flooring joins are welded to ensure a tight seal and no leakage to the wet room
